Mac Cosmetics launched their Future Face collection this past week. They added two new colors to one of my favorite foundation lines – Studio Moisture. The new colors are Medium Plus and Dark Plus. They also added a few new shades to their Studio Fix line: NW18, NW22, NW33, NW44, NW46, NW48, and NW58. I use Studio Fix when I need a full coverage, but I have to mix a few colors to get it right. It is used best over primer. If you notice your face whitened in photos, make sure you are properly moisturized prior to the next application.
A new addition to the Mac family is the Careblend Pressed Powder, which is said to have natural ingredients to help improve the skin. I tried it in the store, and it feels smooth and soft like silk. The problem is that there are not many colors from which to select, so it is a hit or miss. For me, it is a miss <insert sad face here>. The Mac Viva Glam Gaga lipstick and gloss were also recently introduced. Not impressed. It is a pale, nude color that does not look well on many skin tones. It does not seem very versatile. Mac Cosmetics is available at some major department stores, the Florida Mall, and the Mall at Millenia.
Naked is back at Urban Decay. Their palette was such a hit that they could not keep up with production and instead of the fabulous 24/7 eyeliner, you now get a full sized brush. Use any individual or combination of the twelve eyeshadows to create the perfect minimalist, bronze goddess, sun kissed, or golden globe glow. I like getting naked. How about you? Urban Decay is available at Sephora (Florida Mall) and Ulta (across from the Florida Mall, at Altamonte Mall, Waterford Lakes Town Center, and Winter Park Village).
Hate messy lipsticks or the extra step of using a lipliner and lipstick? Try Clinique’s new Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm. You may also find their bottom lash mascara of interest. Clinique is available at most major department stores in Orlando.
